chart interpretation continued...

The disruptive element of Uranus shows in my work situations (6th house), especially when dealing with authority (I'm much better working by myself as a gardener and astrologer!) This disruptiveness also shows to an extent within my personal close relationships, which will be unusual and/or very independent in some way (descendant). Moon in Taurus in the 4th house and close to the foundation point brings me right down to earth. My home means more to me than anything else, and I am fiercely proud of it - all my security stems from this sense of belonging. This placing is similar to Moon in Cancer, and notice that my descendant is in that sign. So despite my very strong need for independence I am very much a home and family man, a curious mixture. Taurus and the 4th house give me a love of the great outdoors, especially my outdoors - little wonder I took on a garden nature reserve! The Sagittarius and Aquarius independent spirits will be much engulfed by this home-loving scenario - perhaps why I do little serious travelling, despite my Sagittarian Sun.

Finally, we're back with the ruler Saturn again, as part of an 8th house stellium - a grouping of planets in one sign and house. Mars in Libra is weakly placed as regards getting things achieved in the way that Mars, the planet of action, would like to do. Everything has to be weighed up from all sides in a harmonious fashion, when Mars is in Libra. PLUS being conjunct Saturn, this negative, repressive planet will hold back my actions anyway, and Neptune - the third part of the stellium - will simply add confusion and mystique to the proceedings. Mars also controls the sex drive, so you can imagine the tough time I had trying to come to terms with adult hood! Saturn certainly held me back sexually in some ways, whilst Neptune threw in more confusion, deception, whatever! As I reached middle age however, I certainly went through an unusual time, because at this time of life Saturn tends to lessen its grip, thereby in my case giving Mars a free reign - and Mars in the 8th house is a real hot potato, for this, amongst other things, is the house of sex...........
Neptune in this 8th house stellium though is primarily responsible for my psychic and spiritual awareness, especially with it forming a sextile to my Sun. Saturn though restricted this awareness from developing properly for such a long time. Now that it has let go, there is no holding me back!

This is of course only the tip of my iceberg, but should suffice in giving you a good idea of how to interpret a chart.
