JUPITER opposition SATURN.

A classic example of an opposition. Think of it as a seesaw, with opposing forces at either end desperately trying to find a balance. This opposition brings about a severe and often sudden swing from optimism to pessimism: one day the person is radiant and full of the joys of life, eager to get on with things (Jupiter), the next they are on a downer, suffering from doom and gloom and having little enthusiasm for their tasks (Saturn).

VENUS square PLUTO.
Pluto is all about intensity of feelings and obsessive behaviour. Therefore when presented negatively in a square, challenging situations are produced that need to be overcome to move forward, and connected to Venus these situations will be always directed to matters of the heart, and relationship issues. What makes these Pluto squares so difficult to deal with is the very nature of Pluto. It creates obsessive, compulsive, and paranoid behaviour that the person responsible for is often not even aware of, which of course makes it all the more difficult for them to control. Intense feelings of jealousy, possessiveness, control, manipulation, plus terrific power struggles can be expected from a person with a Venus-Pluto square in their chart.

VENUS opposition URANUS.
When you meet someone who has so obviously gone off with a totally unsuitable partner, and very likely not the first time they have made this sort of mistake, it is almost certain that they have this opposition in their chart. It is infamous for pairing mismatched couples together, often to the great detriment of the sufferer. It forces them to see good in everyone and promotes the idea of starting a relationship with at the least unusual or unconventional partners. These relationships often begin with the typical Uranus spark of excitement but this rarely lasts. Before long they see the errors of their ways but often it is too late and they become trapped in a totally unsuitable partnership.

MERCURY trine NEPTUNE.
Many clairvoyants and other psychics have this aspect in their charts. It is the perfect combination of the logical, analytical thinking of Mercury with the mystical intuitive qualities of Neptune, creating a best of both worlds situation where you can equally rely on your logical mind and your intuition. People with this or similar aspects in their charts can totally rely on their intuition and follow their instincts, and are often genuinely psychic.

MARS conjunct SATURN.
A double edged sword, this one. On the one hand, Saturn will somewhat restrict the actions of Mars, causing delays and interruptions in whatever the person puts their mind to. On the other hand, the commitment side to Saturn will bring out the best in the person’s actions. Although they may take time in reaching where they want to be, the end result will be one of responsible, dependable, and conscientious effort.
