THE ODE OF AQUARIUS?

    CAPRICORN
  Earth sign, cardinal.

  Very serious in outlook, shy and retiring and often loners. Yet they are strong- willed, determined people and many a Capricorn has gone on to great things (especially if Mars is also in Capricorn) thanks to their dogged determination. They have a reputation for being openly mean and selfish, but this is only in extreme cases. They do tend to be somewhat cold or even hard natured people - this is very evident if their Moon is in Capricorn, but of course the rest of the chart needs taking into consideration.
  It is the sign that also has the reputation of being the most boring, but they do however often have a highly developed dry sense of humour. Unless countered by more favourable signs in their chart, they can appear old before their time.
The Capricorn impatience is almost unique to their sign, certainly not the typical impulsive Aries type impatience. It drives them along in a responsible, pondering sort of way that often leads to setbacks because they did not wait for the right moment. Like Taureans, they resist change, respecting the tried and tested methods of doing things. And the word conventional was written for them.

AQUARIUS

Air sign, fixed.

To many people, myself included,
this is the most interesting of all
the signs. The reason is because
these people are not sheep: they do
their own thing, in their own way, etc, etc. They are unconventional and in pronounced cases, their way is unusual, quirky, or downright eccentric. They will not conform to imposed restrictions or trends. They indulge in their own freedom and independence, even more so than Sagittarians, but remaining very friendly and gregarious in the process. The other strong Aquarian trait is that of humanitarian beliefs. They think for the group, or for society itself, rather than for themselves.
  They find technology comes second nature, and are often original thinkers with scientific minds. They can though be fixed in their viewpoints and not very adaptable, which can cause problems for them being as their views can be seen as downright odd!
Another infamous trait of Aquarians is their detachment with friends and partners. Not the most romantic of signs, this aspect is worsened by this terrible habit they seem to have of switching off all emotion when the moment suits them - be it temporarily or permanent.

  PISCES
  Water sign, mutable.

  Putting other people first is perhaps the key phrase for Pisces. Like Virgos, they want to help but Virgo is the practical way - this is a self- sacrificing way, a sympathetic and caring side to matters, using their considerable intuition. It is the sign that bears the symbol of being 'soft' but can also, especially in men, show a very tough side. Bullies are often Pisces - it is as if they need to put on this front to disguise their inherent 'soft' nature. And there is a duality within this sign of opposing forces - so if they can't help someone they will go against them. Generally though, they are very compassionate and romantic souls. Extremely sensitive, they need encouragement to get on well, and would benefit from the company of an understanding fire sign. They also tend to regularly change direction when pursuing their goals, which more often than not leads to confusion and loss. They are dreamy, sensitive, likeable people that share the Aquarian faith in humanitarian belief.
