VIRGO
  Earth sign, mutable.

  I know Virgos who are constant worriers, so much so that they worry alarmingly about unlikely situations when there is no sign that the situation is set to occur.
Virgos are extremely analytical, counting every last detail and crossing the Ts and dotting every I. Lists come second nature to these people. Precision is shown in everything they do - and think. Unless the rest of the chart says otherwise, Virgos are conservative by nature and tend to happily remain in the background, observing rather than taking part.
They often become obsessed with their health and fitness, sometimes leading to hypochondria. And their exact neatness and tidiness can become the total opposite - to almost tramp-like proportions - if they have strong negative aspects in their chart.
Like the water sign Pisces, they are at their best when serving others in some way, rather than taking the initiative. They can be very hard on themselves in their constant quest for perfection in everything they do. And they do need to watch that criticism!

  GEMINI
  Air sign, mutable.

  One of the hardest signs to really understand, probably because of it's marked duality, in whatever way that manifests. Change and variety is all important to a Gemini. Communication is the key here, being ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication. And typical Geminis certainly talk - non-stop sometimes. If they don't talk much, there will be other evidence of their sign: maybe rooms full of books and magazines, endlessly watching television(s), constantly e-mailing people, and so on. Like Sagittarians, they are great learners, simply wanting to know everything about everything, and often more than one thing at once. They are incredibly versatile, and the more plodding listener would have trouble keeping up with the subject changes of an eloquent Gemini. And all this communication means they are rarely short of lots of friends - very typical of air signs in general.
  They tend to be very impressionable which can very much work to their disadvantage, as can their renowned sudden moodiness - very obvious when Moon is in Gemini.
  With the lessened exception of Libra, air signs are not renowned for their romantic affections, and one needs to find a Gemini with more passionate signs abounding within the other planets, especially Moon, Mars, and Venus, if a passionate and romantic relationship is sought after!

    LEO
  Fire sign, fixed.

  Very much a sign associated with being in charge of situations. Very much a leadership quality, being ambitious and very proud, and can all too easily become overbearing and arrogant if not checked. They are usually creative in varying ways, acting being perhaps the most openly obvious show of this. As with Aries (and Sagittarius), Leos can be very forthright, sometimes too much so. They share certain attributes with the earth sign Taurus in as much that often only the best will do: I know of some people who have Sun in one of these signs and Moon in the other, and they are very materialistic people indeed. Leos are however often generous but this can simply be to remain the centre of attention - nine times out of ten they already are that. They thrive on attention, recognition, and praise from others, so therefore run the risk of becoming conceited. At the very least they are big-hearted, romantic people.
